Out of these, I'd say Win2k pro.

I do not know jack about Unix, and even if I did, nothing I have runs on it.

It's too hard to play games on 2K & I haven't fully explored XP yet, so I'll stick with the ever popular 98SE-for now

That's because it either comes with everything you need or you can get it for free. :D

Now if I could just figure out how to get this USB Logitach QuickCam to work. I can see the device attached to the system through usbview and check the data throughput on it. Using it is another story altogether. :D:D

Im using XP pro right now. I know, I know, Tsk tsk.
But so far it has been running everything i throw at it. Games included. has been very stable and i really cant complain about it yet. But im sure like all of M$ products i will be able to at some point.

There's another reason. Most hardware manufacturers don't support anything but Windows

nVidia makes their drivers as good on NT as they do on 9x, so my framerates are pretty much the same :D

Hope you don't mind soulo, I added in Linux as opposed to Unix. I felt Unix wasn't quite representative enough to cover both.. ;)

Justintime

Something
98SE gaming and 2K stability/everything else, XP is ok, but too bloated and eye candyish :D when ever i use my test box with XP i got classic look on

PsychoMark

^ bored.
Same as justintime, without the XP computer. I can't imaginge WinXP running on a p133, but Win2K runs without any problems... (upgrade! upgrade! yes, I will, but even then I'll keep Win2K, at least it LOOKS like a serious OS :))
