My car died

Possibly, but that would lead to a dead battery.

1. Clean your battery terminals
2. Using an INSULATED screwdriver, check to see if there's a spark coming off the spark plug wire.
3. If not, my best guess is your coil blew.

Same thing happened to the wife's minivan. Got a solid *clack* from the solnoid, but no turnover. I thought the started had gone south, but it started fine when I, on a hunch, tested with my boosterpak. Picked up a new one at Sears (DieHard Gold) for $109 installed. Not bad considering that you can't even see the battery without removing half the engine.
