Linux HELP!!!

OK. I am into a RH9 server remotely using SSH. I did the su thing. Now when I try to run anything other than basic stupid commands it tells me command not found. Am I doing something dumb, or is this just a security thing and I've got ssh configured wrong?

Have your checked your path? Changing users may have fudged that up.

The command I needed was su - root, not just su. We're good now. Thanks
