Win-XP kills Verizon DSL

I'll be sure and stay away from XP when I get DSL then. Is 2k also affected by this?

It has something to do with the maximum transfer unit. The story goes into specifics.

I read the story. I think Win2k still has MTU control, so I could change it down to 1492 soon as I get DSL... but I'm not sure if it does.

I think you can change the mtu in XP too but am not sure about that.
