White Corn Fritters

Serve these as an appetizer or a side dish.

Serves 2-3

1 1/3 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking powder
2/3 cup Milk
1 Egg, beaten
1 tablespoon Butter, melted
1 cup White corn, slightly crushed
Oil for frying

Mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Whisk in the milk, egg, and butter. Fold in the corn. Allow to sit 10 minutes. Heat the oil to 375. Carefully drop in by spoonfuls. Brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels
