Redhat Linux 9 DNS

OK I got myself into it now. First of all, I'm back after a long momentary lapse of reason. Secondly, I've got to bring up 2 Linux 9 DNS servers. Has anybody ever set one of these up as a secondary (slave) to a Windows 2000 Active Directory DNS server? After copious amounts of alcohol it seems like it should work. Any thoughts?

Thanks. It should work as a standard secondary. I believe the only difference between an AD DNS and a standard Win2k primary DNS is that AD stores the info in Active Directory and a Standard Primary stores it in a zone file. You can do Zone transfers from an AD DNS to a Win2k secondary. I'll let you know.

OK. BIND 9 just sucks for some reason. Went to 8.4.1 and all my problems went away. It does the zone transfer from the Windows 2000 box just fine. Now I just can't get the forwarders to work right.
