This one sounds nasty... tastes great!

Zucchini Pie


1 cup zucchini, chopped
1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoon soft margarine
2 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla


Cook zucchini in a small amount of water for about 10 minutes and then drain.
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg
Bake at 400 deg. F. for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350 deg. F. for 1/2 hour or
until solid when shaken.

Q's award winning potato salad
4# potatoes
10 eggs
3 stalks celery
1/2 med. onion
3 scallions
3 strips of bacon
about 12oz mayonnaise
Boil potatoes for 30 minutes, drain & cool
Boil eggs for 20 minutes (add 1 TBSP salt to the water, to prevent shells from sticking)
finely chop celery onion and scallions
quarter and slice potatoes
chop eggs
cut bacon into small pieces and microwave for 2 minutes
blend all ingredients together with mayo and chill for at least 2 hours

Cranberry Broccoli Salad

1 1/4 C dried cranberries
2 C broccoli florets
4 C shredded cabbage
1 C nuts (walnuts and/or pecans coarsely chopped + slivered almonds)
1 sm. onion, finely minced
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 C mayonnaise
1/3 C sugar
2 T cider vinegar

In a large bowl, combine first six ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cranberry mixture. Toss well. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Serves 6 - 8.

New England Clam Chowder
1-6.5oz can minced clams
1 stalk of celery (finely minced)
1 med. onion (finely minced)
2 potatoes (peeled & cut into small cubes)
3 scallions (cut up)
2 strips of bacon (cut up)
1 tsp or two cloves of garlic
1 tbsp chicken base
1 tsp sugar
2 Qts heavy whipping cream

In a metal pot cook the bacon long enough to get some grease on the bottom of the pan, then add celery onions and scallions, cook this over medium heat stirring occasionally until the mixture becomes fairly brown, add potatoes, clams w/liquid and garlic. Simmer for 15 minutes stirring ocasionally. Add heavy whipping cream and sugar, continue to cook over medium heat till hot. Season to taste with seasoned salt, and thicken with wondra sauce and gravy flour.

Gonzo its wondra sauce and gravy flour it can be found in the same aisle as the regular flour and it comes in a tall blue container.

Hamburger patty, buns with nothing on them. Spread peanut butter on the patty (preferably old fashioned), place patty between buns. Enjoy. :)
