Well, I was a little hesitant about trying XP, but what the hell... you only live once
And as seeing that I dident have to *ahem**cough* pay for it, i'd give it a go... (did a ghost backup first of course)
The version I have is XP Pro.
The install went so smoothly I was shocked!
Did the "upgrade" option (from win2k). and when it was done EVERYTHING worked! I dident have to install ANY new drivers, or re-install any software... I figured that since I was using 2k that was why it went so good... soooooo I gave the cd to my son to try... (he has 98se).
Guess what? same results... save for 1... he had to re-install NERO 5.. but thats it!
I think this is the first os install that I wasent cursing bill gates the whole way through it
