"There appears to be few things wrong with the GA-7VRXP. It's fast, it has been incredibly stable going on about a week now, and it includes lots of perks. It does support some fairly decent overclocking, and has performance gains over the KT266A-based motherboards. The GA-7VRXP beat the KT266A-based KR7A-R in every benchmark. Coming in on Pricewatch for ~125 US$, this board would make a great addition to any system. Its a safe bet for performance gains for those who have been holding on to their DDR boards from this time last year. Essentially, this board comes highly recommended. Hardware Pub and myself would like to take a moment to thank Gigabyte for their support in making this review happen, and Hardware Pub rates this motherboard:

9/10 Beers

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price: $125"

Gigabyte is usually $150+

I can't wait till I upgrade in summer. This 850 makes me feel so slow :D

only 3 DIMM slots? 5 PCI slots? No fan on the chipset? I think I'll wait for the Abit, Epox or Soltek incarnations of the KT333

Something
The Asus A7V333 has no fan on the chipset, and i hit 180MHz Stable with it. Coupled with Kingmax PC2700 its the fastest single cpu setup with an AMD platform i've used without watercooling :)

I know it will still work, but I like to keep things running cool

Maybe not the case temps, but the chipset temps are a different story.
