Well, it's pretty close to being released if nVidia goes through with the announcement in the second half of January, and we still don't know if there are any differences in terms of how the card processes data sent to it or if there are any new eye candies available with the GF4.

This is not the typical nVidia we are seeing here... if I remember correctly, specs on the Geforce 3 were hyped months before it was released. Or was that the original Geforce?

So damn many geforces these days you can't even keep up.
