Downloading them now.
Is this the orginal C&C game? Does it being Gold change something? Because I have the original CDs.
Don't think so; I think it's just used to differentiate the versions.
Far Cry (yes, that far cry ) You'll need a free Ubi account: http://www.gamershell.com/news/41339.html
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (Ubi acct also): http://www.gamershell.com/news/41340.html
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: (ditto): http://www.gamershell.com/news/41338.html
Is Quake Zero far behind???
Ain't nothing free
Probably like the new map for BF2 wher they place billboards throughout the map advertising Intel
"Rayman Raving Rabbits" Never heard of this one.
I can't get C&C to work. Throws some sort of "internal read error" on setup.ins and bounces me out of setup.
Hmm... could be a barfed download. Trying the download again - and now it projects a mere 7 hours instead of 26 the last tme. On 3MB DSL.
Think they're slammed?
You can also find it/them @ fileshack.com
Uh, yeah. 585 MB from fileshack, 384 MB from the actual manufacturer's website.
Get it from the reliable source.
I've d/l'ed hundreds of things from fileshack; they are a legit site (sister site is shacknews.com). Dunno why for the discrepency...
No, fileshack is fine. It's commandandconquer that's screwed. A quick web search shows I'm not the only one to hit this snag. If you want these ISO's and haven'r d/l'd 'em yet, save yourself some trouble and go to fileshack.
Ah That's what happens when I've been up for 48hrs straight Can't read anything...
got mine from torrent. package included,
2 iso files
1 patch file for running in xp
1 Doc file with instructions for installing and running program in win2k and xp.
installed and running like a champ on my xp system
Oh, it works fine now. A un-corrupted download is a major help.
