Some of us remember, first hand. A few of us (me included) have vague memories. Most of us weren't even sparkles in our dads eye. The entire world sat in front of their televisions or ones near home if they didn't own one & watched mankind change forever.

It should have been, and was in many ways, a complete turnaround of our ideologies & prejudices, seeing what could be accomplished. It took about 20,000 years of Homo (species) gazing into the night skies & wondering, "what if..."

The link provided is a :20 minute trek down memory lane-from the lift off of Apollo to the Eagles touchdown & leaving to return to earth. Wonderful shots & great audio. It brought back memories & feelings and shows how utterly trivial our lives are at the moment.

I was 1 year old, and most of my relatives didn't even had television.
