Since the have completely merged they've added a "adware detect" scan. Kinda nice, especially when this is the result...

CatchUp did not find any adware; all scanned directories were free of known components.

That's cool! Although XP has the security update feature, and I configured Norton to do the same, it's nice to know I can get the most updated patches for the plethura of Microsoft products that come out with new vulnerabilities every day.

I have Ad-Aware, and I run it from time to time to eliminate spyware programs and cookies from my system. It's quite effective
