Well, since you are using a P3, I'd say an upgrade to like a 2500+ system would be plenty of power for a year or two. Well into 2005 anyway when the selection of chips should at least be more promising.

In their defense, not all places calculate insurance based on the driver and the car type. Here for instance, the insurance I pay on my car is the same for everyone that owns a 1992 Integra. They don't care who the driver is, just the make of the car.

That wouldn't really be an upgrade, thats expandability. Which are 2 different areas really.

Yeah, they are decent laptops. Weakest part of the brand is lack of upgradability. But its a laptop, so you're not exactly looking at a plethera of upgrades anyway.
