Guys, there is so much more to the story. But anyway. Acid can't reply for some reason so he asked me to post, I'm not sure exactly what he wanted me to say though. Maybe something like FURY FIX IT, ACID CAN'T POST Although I could be mistaken.

I've recently set up Mandrake 8.2 on my spare HD and I noticed that the default firewall isn't all that configurable. Does anyone know of a firewall software for Linux and/or how to configure custom port and security settings and what not with the default firewall? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't want to sound rude, but have you made sure the folders are shared? Have you checked the folder permissions on the machine you want to share, Do you have simple file sharing enabled or disabled? In WinXP as in Win2k, when you are logged into a computer as an Administrator all hard...
