We tried to take him to nightmare. Bnet kicked us off just as we got in Ba'al's face. So, he has to kill Ba'al before he can go to nightmare.

Reminds me, we need to do that.

Unc and I will probably rush him through NM eventually, and yeah, we'd love to have you join us. For the moment, though, we've gone back to playing our main quest characters.

Made a new sorc under my account as a new mule. If you need things, let me know. Right now, she's carrying all but the visor of a Cathan's set (which is why I created her), and a fairly nice sorc shield.

I found Cathan's Mask, if you still need it. I left it on the mule...

I found a useful trick for leveling starting chars. Using Kallim's Will! When you have a level 20s or so that is about to complete the Compelling Orb Quest, drop Kallim's Will in Act1 after you have assembled it, instead of destroying the Orb. Then create another char, join the same game and get the weapon. It has no Str,Dex or lvl requirement, can be used from level 1, is blazing fast, does good physical and lightning damage and has life/mana stealing. Your level 20s will have to start another game collect the parts and assemble the flail again, but you've got yourself forever a very nice wepon to speed up the initial stages of the game. You just have to pass it over to another low level char whenever you get to Act 3...

My sorc just hit 52 and is about to start farming NM Mephisto. I just wanted to make her a Spirit before, but didn't find a 4 socket sword yet...

Yeah, my sorc is about at the same stage, maybe 8-10 levels higher. Unc's running a pally with her.

I'll keep an eye out for a 4 socket blade for ya.

Thanks, but a Conquest sword has too high requirements for a caster weapon. After almost a month of playing and unfruitful findings I actually found a normal Broad Sword and spent a socket quest on it. Turns out it got the lowest Fast Cast Rate roll(25). I'm using right now on my MF sorc, but I'll look up to make a better one next time. As soon as on of my chars hit Hell I'll start farming the Pits for socketables...or maybe NM Cows

Occassionally. I actually jumed on last night and played all of my and Unc's characters for a few minutes apiece. They were all within 10 days of going bye-bye.

I play games in waves. I'll eventually come back to D2, but right now I'm on other stuff. The exception to that rule is that V2.0 has now gotten old enough for D2, so I play quite a bit with him.

I still have bunches of characters. I've kinda stripped 'em of equipment becuase my son and I have been playing, and I've equipped him, but that could be remedied.

I returned to the game a month or so ago. Built a Fire/Cold MF sorc that is pure gold. I need some high runes now to equip a Singer Barb that is my pet project. As soon as I'm able to provide him Enigma Armor he is ready for his purpose in life: to farm Hell Nihlatak.

Ladder Reset! Again! Shit! Just when I was about to build enough wealth to fullfill my objectives again.

OTOH, Gato, now's a good time to start the game. They won't do this again for awhile.
